5 Modern World Leaders Who Suffer from Narcissistic Personality

Narcissistic Personality Disorders (NPD) is a disorder which make the people affected by it feeling him/herself is more important than other people. In the chronic state, this behavior could affect their social relationship  by lacking of empathy and arrogance towards others. Here are 5 Modern World Leaders who is believed to suffer from this disorders.

1. Pol Pot

He was the leader of Cambodia and the prime minister of democratic of Kampuchea from 1976-1979. He also led Khmer rouge from 1963-1997. His leadership was full of dictactorship. He was responsible for the death of 25 percent of Cambodian population due to his forced labor projects.

2. Joseph Stalin

He was the leader of Soviet Union from mid 1920 until 1953. Despite his dictactorship, Stalin changed the USSR from agrarian society into industrialization society. This event resulted in million of people imprisoned in Gulag Labor Camp and created  a tragic famine in 1932-1933.

3. Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler or known also as the fuhrer of Germany and the leader of Nazis Party. His racist ideology in believing that Nazis are the purist stock of Aryan race is one criteria of NPD. Lack of empathy shows by labelling  people as “parasitic race” if they don’t have an Aryan origin. Moreover, He  perceived those people with non Aryan origins are dangerous for the society. He was responsible for Holocaust and World War II.

4. Napoleon Bonaparte

He was the emperor of the French from 1804 – 1814, and 1815. In his Egyptian expedition, He attacked Jaffa which was part of Ottoman province of Damascus. He brutally attacked the city and ordered 1,400 prisoners to be executed by bayonet or drowning to save the bullets. Women and children also robbed and murdered for three days. His lack of empathy for his army was when he ordered to poison his soldiers who suffers from Bulbonic plague so they didn’t slow down his army.

5. Heinrich Himmler

He was reichsführer and a leading member of the Nazis party. He was one of most powerful man and most directly  responsible for the Holocaust. He built the Nazis Concentration Camps on behalf of Hitler’s request. He was responsible for the killing of 6 million of Jews and 200,000 and 500,000 Romani people.
